Byron Gifford Gaylon Brighton			Claiborne Brothers Quartette The Claiborne Brothers Quartette began in 1951 as an a cappella quartet, singing in their father's (B. W. Claiborne) little Southern California church. By the early 1960s, they were considered to be the premier Gospel quartet in the Western United States.
